Essentials
- A portable sewing machine;
- an ongoing quilting task or fresh fabric to begin;
- a standard sewing set containing pins, seam rippers, and needles;
- a rotary cutter with a compact mat if available;
- and matching project thread.
What to Bring
Here’s what to bring to feel comfy and ready at your first quilting circle.
Nice-to-Haves
- Your favorite quilting tools (rulers, clips, specialty feet)
- Small iron and pressing mat (if you like to press as you go)
- A notebook and pen for tips and pattern ideas
Optional Donations
- Clean cotton fabric suitable for quilts
- Batting or backing pieces
- Finished blocks or tops for community donation quilts
